The biggest problem is the enamel of the teeth will wear off early in his life and expose him to serious tooth decay. Keep his dental care up, and he'll be fine.

It's not likely to bother him at all.. As long as his jaw is fine and he has no pain.. If it's just an underbite.. It's not a problem. You will want to keep an eye on his teeth and do what you can to make sure that they are staying clean. It seems that a dog that doesn't have a correct bite is more prone to natural build up of plaque etc.

Its very common for yorkie's to have bad under bites, its not that big of a deal, as long as your vet keeps an eye on it he should be fine. It might cause a health problem in the future but your vet can explain better and tell you everything to watch out for. And you might want to get an elevated bowl to prevent bloat
There are some people out there that do canine orthodontics, but it is insanely expensive and really not worth it IMO

Have you asked your vet?
I have 2 yorkies 1 has a minor underbite, not like you said yours has, but since my boy has a minor underbite my vet said not too worry.
Get it looked at by your vet, it could be a bigger deal the older the pup gets, right now it is just a baby

I have a Yorkie that has an under bite, the vet said it is not a big deal, but small Yorke's are more susceptible to teeth and gum problems so you should brush there teeth to prevent problems in the future.

If it did cause a problem, would you get him braces on his little teeth?
