There are so many good TV Chefs/Cooks around and they are all really good but my personal favourite is Keith Floyd because he's just so funny, especially when he makes a mess of a dish.

Also I always leave the reruns of the Two Fat Ladies on when I'm channel hopping because their food is so rustic and their stories and ramblings are music to the ears.

Rick Stein also shows such a passion for local produce as does Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall and both inspire me to do the same in my cooking.

The Hairy Bikers are so much fun to watch and they add a new zest to cookery programmes which is so refreshing.

I really enjoyed the BBC show last year when they had regional chefs competing to cook for the Queen and it woke me up to chefs such as Galton Blackiston, Atul Kochlar, Marcus Wareing, Angela Hartnett etc etc.

I can sit through a whole weekend of UKTV Food quite happily but for me the haphazard Keith Floyd has to rule the roost.

Simon Rimmer is my fav, he has a veggie restaurant called Greens just outside Manchester...it rocks! He's also been on some of the foodie programmes on TV (bald guy from the Wirral or somewhere).

I detest Delia (like a home economics teacher and so technical with her cooking) and Gary Rhodes...what a pretentious fool!

I like people like Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall although he's not a chef but has done a lot to try and make people more aware of where our food is coming from etc.
