How can I get my grandmother to not be a stupid head?

Okay this is really pissing me off. I have to dress up like this person http://photos.lacoccinelle.net/38/33/193833.jpg for a final in my stage makeup class. I mean I have to look as much like him as I could. I don't have a wig that would match anyway and now I have to go and look for one to get becuase my grandma doen't want me to die my hair black. I can't go darker then my normal hair color. Becuase Emo people and gothic people die there hair black and it would look bad on me. She said my hair would look bad if I died it blonded and it didn't. She never listens to a thing I say about that. She knows that I'm not emo or gothic but she still won't listen to me.. If I can't get a wig then I guess I'll jsut ahve to keep my hair brown and get a bad grade. So tell me how can I get her to understand that she's stu[pid about

hair. Becuase obvisly I don't know what I'm talking about.

So what do I do when I can't get a damn wig becuase it'
s nearly christmas. uThere is not black hair die. Respect my grandma. When every single thing I do is a sing of depressoin. I do respect her. the reason why it's pissing me off so uch is that's I've been wanting to die my hair black for awhile since I was like well 12 and she always says the same thing It would look bad on me. Wich is a lie she said havn't blonde hair would look bad on me to but when I died my hair blonde it actully made me look healther. What it all biols down to is that Emo's and Gothic people have black hair. We can have someone who people mistake as emo in our house now can we? She just cares more about what other people will think then what I want. If people think that I'm emo or gothic becuase my ahir is black then there dumb and it would reflect badly on me my hair color has nothing to do with her parenting skills.

u cant change ur grandma; she'll likely be like that for the rest of your life. however, being 18, you can now start to take matters into your own hands. I find that it's far easier to obtain forgiveness than permission :) just do it. you're legal and you have rights. whats she gonna do to you?

I think you should try your hardest to get a wig. Or maybe you could try something very temporary and just streak it so it looks darker but isn't totally black. I don't think you shoud absolutely dye your hair black. It's too drastic and the contrast when it starts to grow back is very dramatic. I don't really think it's worth it. Grandma may be right.

Why not get black hair color spray from the drug store. It will wash out and grandma will be happy.

Please try to have a little more respect for Grandma, few people in this world, if any, will love you like she does.

please don't dye your hair black just for a class!!! Get some of that spray on color, it's a stage MAKEUP class anyway I'm sure they don't want you drastically and permanently changing your hair for it.
