Well I kept falling asleep in class today, but everytime I fell asleep I only was "asleep" for literally a second. But whatever I was thinking about as I drifted asleep, suddenly got weird as it was in my "dream". Then I would wake up about 1-3 seconds later and think "why the hell did I start thinking about that?". Plus when I wake up, my vision is blurry for 1 second and I feel really weird. What's going on here? It happened several times in class today.

You are only asleep for a few seconds because you are not able to lay down with a blanket and pillow and sleep. You are sitting up and fighting the sleep.
You can't control your dreams, so it's hard to predict what you'll dream about and hard to figure out why you dream about what you do.
Your vision is blurry because you're focused on a different focal length than the front of the class, and since you are still half asleep and half dreaming, your eyes don't know what to focus on. You may have been focusing far into the distance (if you were dreaming about outer space or mountains) or you may have been focusing up close (if you were dreaming about a bug on your arm or your computer).
You feel weird for those same reasons.
Now, the main question is WHY ARE YOU SLEEPING IN CLASS? You're not gonna learn anything. Stop staying up late drinking soda pop and playing video games. Pay attention to the class lesson or you might get a crappy grade.

I suggest a few things; one, get a complete physical check up to rule out things. Explain to the doctor exactly what is happening. I wonder if you have a sleep disorder causing you to fall asleep, Narcolepsy (sp?).

Other things; don't do street drugs, drink alcohol, make sure you are eating properly and try to remember if you have sustained any head injury recently.

You were probably day dreaming and just dozing off in class. You should either get some sleep. If it happens for no reason you need to go to the doctor and have that checked out

want a pillow there buddy? i'm hoping you've been napping at nighttime. when you're it will be your body telling you that your no longer getting sufficient sleep. in case you want a reacurance of somthing like this even as your about to bypass to sleep at domicile pull your self out of it, you would possibly want to experience a similar way. Or in english your falling asleep yet snapping out of it before you get to la la land.
