It's alarming how few people actually penetrate to the heart of this question and realize its subtle intent.

I am opposed to a theocracy. I am not opposed to the study of theology. I am currently going to bible study once a week at a local church. I enjoy learning and don't think the study of anything should be banned.

I'm not at all.
I think we can learn allot about human nature through the study of theology.

I think theocracies have a pretty bad track record though, and based on that am opposed to them.

Do you mean to ask whether atheists oppose rule by religion?

Yes.

People who want to study theology doing so?

No.

People being forced to study theology?

Yes.

Edit to add: Oh, and if you want people to understand your meaning, be explicit. Only a moron would hide their meaning then expect people to understand what they meant.

I can only speak for myself. but i am an atheist and what i am opposed to is the rules and the organizational structure of the religions.

I am opposed to the idea that you have to follow every single rule. I also do not believe in heaven and hell; i believe in reincarnation.

"Are athiests[sic] opposed to thoecracy[sic] or the study of thoelogy[sic]?"
LOLz.

Now if you'd asked about theocracy I'd'a' said: No; not at all.
I'm interested in both theocracy and theology and in the psychology of the parasites and their hosts.

I am very much opposed to theocracies. But theology is good for a laugh, so if it were banned I'd protest.
