i do alright if they start a conversation and get it going. i can usually be funny or whatever and be engaging. how do i start one out of the blue just because i feel like talking to them? if they say hi, how do i lead then into a conversation? what are some fun things to talk about? the one i use most often is talking about some class we have together, but talking about how much work i have gets boring and it feels dorky.

I normally start by saying "hi". Then I say something really stupid like "Nice weather we're having." or "How's it goin?" When I say those kind of things they normally think it's funny for some reason, I guess it's maybe because i sound like a loser or a dork. Anyway, once I get them to laugh i feel comfortable and just start a conversation like how you would with your friends. As far as some stuff to talk about, talk about movies, music, or art. Find out what they're interested in and make sure you know some stuff about it (if you don't may i suggest Wikipedia) and then start a conversation with her about it. It works for me about 85% of the time. So give it a try. What's the worst that could happen?

You say that you can be engaging if she starts the conversation, if that's the case whats the difference if you were to start it? I typically can't just start a conversation with a woman if I have an alterior motive in mind. i.e sex or dating or what ever! Calm down and don't have a fixated goal in mind! Of course you like her but to think of her in certain situations will have you stumbling over your own words instead, think of her as just anyone else. Your friends for instance, do you have trouble talking to them?.. No because your not trying to...... them so it feels natural talking to them. The same can be said about a female... treat her as a person and not an object (not saying you are, but most often than not it's the case) and you should have better results! Talk about your classes or work and know that it's a boring subject so juice it up a little. I.e=> working with guys like this who needs enemies, or this class is worth as much as (fill in the blank) She laughs you laugh then you ask her what she thinks of it and all the while cracking a joke here and there to keep things light! Hope what I said made sense it's a complex issue I know we all have that issue from time to time, as you mature you'll get better at it, hey the more we practice the better we get right!

Ask if they understood what was being talked about in class, talk about how crazy/cool/horrible your teacher is, and then let it branch off from there. If you two have something in common, start with that and then let it develop into other stuff. If you form inside jokes during that conversation, then later you can use those jokes to start a new convo.

I'm a really shy girl and last summer my family went to Wisconsin. We went to two hotels. One of them had 3 pools and I saw this cute guy swimming. Later on I saw him chilling out in a world pool. I gathered up the courage to talk to him and the first words that came out of my mouth were, "Hey. How are you doing today?" Pretty simple, right? You can just go from there after that like after that talk about her hobbies, family, etc. People like if you ask them how their day is because it shows you care.

With hi the conversation has begun and just be simple, brief and honest in your conversation. If are in a place the environment around you can be a subject if it interest you. Or choose something that the other persons might be interested from the looks and behaviour..

if you bring up the subject of school or class, it never goes anywhere. so try and bring up something like a party, or friends, something that you can have a conversation about. and when you talk, dont just say yes/no. be more detailed. say things that she can make comments on, etc.

best to ask a question pertaining to something you think they like. So for example
did you see that new movie about no country for old men ?
If she did not see it ask her what types of movies she likes and then you are primed for saying something like
Hey do you want to go see that Movie ?
Bingo she will either say yes or no if she says yes its your lucky day and if she says no then say something like.
Well you just broke my heart...or say nothing and move on to the next one.
Good luck and practice makes perfect

Pointing out something weird or funny will show your funny and sarcastic side, which is HOTT. We love it when guys just start conversations randomly.
