hi there i've just bought a baking mould from shop but the problem is underneath the mould is made from glass and one of my friend told me if i use it for oven the glass probably will explode so i really need help here could anyone tell me can i use it or not,or hv you got one of this kinda baking mould and how you use it ..thx you very much for your help..

Some glass is oven proof and some isn't. If it's mold made specifically for baking, you should be able to bake in it. If in doubt, call the shop and ask them.

If the packaging mentioned being used in an oven, then you are safe. As long as you don't pour cold water onto a hot glass baking piece, nothing will explode. If you still aren't sure, look around for the same mould from Pyrex; they intend for their moulds to be used in the ovens.

Does it say Pyrex? If so, then you can put it in the oven. It should have had directions that came with it.

If it says oven safe on the bottom it's ok.

There should be some brand mark on it, like Pyrex.
If not, check with the store or manufacturer.
