Well, sort of...but only because he was in the hospital with a febrile seizure on his birthday. We had to have a "make up" first birthday later in the week.

He didnt know ...he was only 1 and very sick.

It happens...my mom forgot mine...but I was 28 when she did it. I think kids are a little more resiliant than people give them credit for.

How could you forget the birth of your child. My daughter was born 4:30 p.m. 8 lbs 2.0z 19 1/2 inches 7/7/92 etc.... I will never forget that day. It was one of the happiest days of my life.

never but then we share a birthday - I know my grand parents have caught them once having a dispute on when my aunt's birthday was - my grandpa said it was the next day (saturday) and Nana was saying it was Sunday my uncle walked in with cards and flowers and informed them it was today - he had already arranged the gathering and presents they just had to sign...but then my grandparents have had 11 children and more than twice as many grandkids so I guess that gives them a pardon!!!

I personally never have...but my mother loves to tell the story of when she turned 13 on Friday the 13th, that her parents forgot her birthday. This was MANY years ago. To try and make it up to her....her parents gave her a nickel to go to the movies. She was able to go to the movies AND buy popcorn.

Not yet. My man did this year. A week before the twins birthday I was getting the party bags ready and he asks why I am doing that. Duh honey, your only children's birthdays are in a week!!
You would think he would remember - he only has 2 kids and they are born on the same day!!

Of course not.

Their father did, however, manage to cancel mine one year. Luckily I got a card from my mother.
