No,Christmas is merely celebrated , i guess , because there is a belief that the Jesus (Isa) PBUH was born on that day !!
Some have reasons about Santa donating gifts and toffees on this day or the Christmas Eve!!
It is corrupt as you mentioned and I guess Satan has made people deviate from the actual teachings of God !!
Giving gifts is very good and it is encouraged almost in every religion but not to the extent of forgetting God.
Our purpose on this earthly platform is communication with God which is important and that is prayer's !!

So lets pray that Everybody one day will believe in God and the Last Day and all the prophets and angels and books revealed by God!!!
We need to learn from history which people forget
Lets make better use of our lives !
He has created so many beautiful people so many !
It is His Bounty and Blessing upon them !

Sabrina, the Bible does describe the Birth of Christ and the visit of the Magi. However, the Bible does not give month and day. In order to find that we would need to go to the Roman records of the tax census taken that year. I don't know if you can pull it up online. Most likely it is in the archives of either the Vatican or of Santa Sophia in Turkey. We chose December 25 as a convenience. The patriarchs wanted to steer the pagans away from the worship of Saturn so they chose Dec. 25 as the birth date. Santa Claus is actually based on a Christian saint from eary Russia who was a bishop and had helped the poor of his area. His actual birth date is December 6. Over the years, it all got lumped together. However the dates for the crucifixion and resurrection can be determined by the date of the Jewish Passover. Although the Roman and Orthodox church changed it somewhat, the actual Resurrection Sunday falls on the first Sunday after Passover starts. It is just not always celebrated that way. Hope this helps.

It is not in the bible. Men justify the pagan rituals by instituting them with parts of the bible. Such as the birth of Jesus.

This has always been a problem with faith in God. He gives man ordinances on how to live a holy life, and man takes that which is pure and corrupts it by adding or taking things that are appealing to him, but anger God.

This is what brought judgment upon the children of Israel several times.

And the same has happened today. Men take things of God and change them to that which is appealing to his flesh, but is poisonous his very soul. Things that move him from the truth of God.

And the holiday known as Christ Mass or christmas is not something the Lord would look favorably on. Yet, many so called believers, knowing that this holiday is filled with paganism justify it in their own minds by saying giving presents is alright since the wise men gave gifts to Jesus. They say that the christmas tree and all the paganism that surrounds it like santa claus for one are harmless as long as it is all in fun.

Well God does not view it that way. I am going to post a link that explains the harmfulness of praticing pagan ritualism. Christmas in general.

christmas is a pagan holiday.
It is not the birthday of Jesus Christ and He is NOT the reason for the season. The wise men were Not at the manger. They came a couple of years later. The shepherds were at the manger.
Get mad. It's the truth. Check it out for yourself unless you want to be wilfully ignorant.
I enjoy Christmas. And I am a Christian but I do know the truth.

No, that is just tradition started a long time ago. The only thing mentioned is the birth of the Baby Jesus. There was not given a specific time or anything like that.

No
There are 'traditions' that are definitely pgan in origin. I will say though the 12/25 concept may not be exact; but it is close to the proper date (if it matters). After all, Zechariah getting the message was on Yom Kippur, plus 6 months (Elizabeth), plus nine months (Mary).

Yes. Jeremiah 10 speaks of tree issue as vain Babylonian custom. Other than that, No. I agree the whole Xmas issue and pkg of lies needs to be addressed and dressed-down.

Luk 2:1 And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus, that all the world should be taxed.
Luk 2:2 (And this taxing was first made when Cyrenius was governor of Syria.)
Luk 2:3 And all went to be taxed, every one into his own city.
Luk 2:4 And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David:)
Luk 2:5 To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child.
Luk 2:6 And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered.
Luk 2:7 And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.
Luk 2:8 And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.
Luk 2:9 And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid.
Luk 2:10 And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.
Luk 2:11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.
Luk 2:12 And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.
Luk 2:13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,
Luk 2:14 Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.
Luk 2:15 And it came to pass, as the angels were gone away from them into heaven, the shepherds said one to another, Let us now go even unto Bethlehem, and see this thing which is come to pass, which the Lord hath made known unto us.
Luk 2:16 And they came with haste, and found Mary, and Joseph, and the babe lying in a manger.
Luk 2:17 And when they had seen it, they made known abroad the saying which was told them concerning this child.
Luk 2:18 And all they that heard it wondered at those things which were told them by the shepherds.
Luk 2:19 But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart.
Luk 2:20 And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told unto them.
Luk 2:21 And when eight days were accomplished for the circumcising of the child, his name was called JESUS, which was so named of the angel before he was conceived in the womb.
