I have a coworker who is not working with me anymore. I really liked her as a person. She made friends with most everybody here. But whenever she was told about the church or Christianity she got angry. She would find little things about people who went to church and say look at that. He is suppose to be a Christian and he is doing that. But when she told me about what she was doing it was ok. She had been through multiple abortions. Also, she told me she would get with people who would make a drug called meth at home. Her teeth had little holes in them and for some reason she had lines on her skin like someone scratched her. Actually, she was really fun to talk to and read a lot of books. My question is how come someone can do things that are first of all illegal and criticize Christians for looking at girls lustfully or something like that. I don't see how some people cannot see what they are doing is wrong also. What I mean by wrong is illegeal drugs and things like that.

It sounds like she has a few more problems then just poking fun at other religions or beliefs. It sounds as if she just has problems period. I would just pray for her, its really the only answer in a situation like that.

She sounds like a bit of a screw up. You don't make her sound like a very convincing atheist.

But the bottom line is, she found holes in the self-righteous because she doesn't like hypocrisy. It doesn't make her a better person but it doesn't mean the things she observed didn't happen. If you want to be a good Christian, be a good Christian - don't say it and expect everyone to think you're great even though you do things that Christians claim to be wrong.

No it would not require extreme questioning to end there is no God. in fact, i could say in case you critically think of, you may end there's a God. maximum philosophers today are leaning in direction of the existence of an better being. Many philosophers who got down to disprove God finally end up confident in the existence of an better beings. I critically think of approximately God each and every of the time and my faith remains good. additionally, I stay in a interior sight the place there are countless atheists. I additionally stay in a interior sight the place there are countless dumbasses, many that're the two atheists and theists. Atheists may well be greater into technological awareness than a theist however because of the fact they don't have God to place self belief in as a purpose or clarification. all and sundry needs to discover the fact. there is in ordinary terms 2 components, God or technological awareness. i could say that's predicted for atheists to be greater into technological awareness than a theists. that's merely my 2 cents :)

When a christian does something that goes against the dogma they practice, and then telling somebody else that they can't do that which the christian has already done, they're being hypocritical.

When someone who does something that doesn't go against any dogma, then there's nothing "spiritually wrong" with that person.

I see nothing wrong with someone pointing out the hypocricy of believers. It happens all the time....

because some christians have done some very bad things to some of us who are now atheists. Not speaking for all atheists here, but a few of us who have been very wronged by the church, and by christian people.

and by the way, look at your story, it goes both ways, christians are VERY VERY VERY critical of everyone else's lifes, but are just as bad if not worse than most of us. So what right do they have to open up their mouths and say a dam* thing

OK, i get where you are coming from, but lets take a step back and look at the big picture, this is the world we live in every one at one time or another despite religion, race or sexuality has been judgemental to another in someway shape or form dose it make sense not really is the any one answer on, it's just the way it goes unfortunately. it's occurs in the tabloids everyday, but it's only when it affects us directly that we make a big stink about it..

Well first off if you knew the history behind why Weed is illegal you wouldn't even call it a drug, and secondly Christians are pretty critical too don't you think?

I find it really hard to believe that a co-worker would confide to another that she had had multiple abortions OR that she and her friends would cook'em up some meth on their off time.

Really now... if you have a problem with atheists just say so.. you dont need to invent someone just to have a rant.

She's a hypocrite, and she wants to point out what hypocrites other people are so she can feel better about herself. She's wasted her intelligence on drugs, and wants to compensate by saying "Well even the PIOUS are messed up." It's her way of abdicating responsiblity for her life by saying "What's the point if everyone's a hypocrite?"

First, No one should be forced to go to church.
2nd, No one should have their beliefs infringed upon by others because they believe differently. IT IS A SIN!!
