I am so sorry for you. I can't even imagine listening to her cry like that.

It is so sad to lose such a good friend.

Sorry, I don't have any answers, just an empathetic heart.

The bond between humans and dogs goes back over 10,000 years and is probably the strongest inter-species bond known. Dogs are not called "man's best friend" for nothing.
Please accept my condolences. Do not hesitate to seek counseling.
It is possible that your dog may have been poisoned, had a reaction to the medicine, or several other things that can only be revealed through a necropsy.
You must also remember that being pack animals dogs will not generally show weakness to others in the pack - including you. Her crying indicates that she felt you could do something about her hurt so make sure you examine your home and neighborhood for dangers.
You might want to consider dog proofing you home before you bring another dog into your life. Did she, for example, get into chocolate or antifreeze? Both are poison to dogs.

Hey - sorry for your pet.

I lost my spaniel a while ago and it really hurt.

Is it possible the dog had some internal injury the Vet missed? This happened to my pooch. Somehow his liver was injured and he suffered bad. Poor guy.
I know this sounds disloyal - but go and interact with another dog - say at the Humane Society. You don't need to acquire a new pet - just go pet one.
You'll probably cry - but strangely it helps.
Good luck man.

I don't know why your dog died but I am awfully sorry. With the exception of the death of my parents, losing pets has been among the worst experiences of my life.

I know people who say, "It's ONLY a dog!" So what are they saying? That my love for my family is "love" and the "love" for my pets is some other kind of "love". To me, it all comes from the same place within me and a loss of either is equally as devestating.

It's very hard to lose someone or something that you love. I know that time will ease your distress. Also, think about all of the love, happiness and fun times that you brought to your dog. You made her very happy and gave her a good life. And she loved you too.

So sorry to hear about your dog...what a strange story.

Unfortunately, the only way to know for sure would be to have a necropsy (autopsy) done on her.

All I can think of is maybe a cancer that had been developing and just took her fast, or thrown blood clots...?

What did your vet say?

Certainly have a necropsy done so you will know. It sounds like the dog was poisoned what a horrible thing to go through. I don't know how you managed see her suffer. It was a poison you can get the police involved and the ASPCA

Bless you.

As soon as it is safe, get another angel. The joy they bring is not to be measured.

I would ask the vet for a necropsy. It sounds like something with neurological involvelment. Possibly a type of menningitis, or Lymes. Hard to guess without being there. So sorry to hear of your loss.

I am so very sorry to hear about the loss of your dog the only way to know for sure what happened is if they do an necropsy on your dog.

Im sorry your dog has died. Did your dog get into anything?

It could of been anything internally.

The vet should of known what was wrong. They should have run more tests.
