Ok, its between this Sony, and Yamaha.There's only a couple of dollar's difference.
I listen to mostly rock music(All American Rejects, Paramore, ect)
I know about getting better sound and stuff from separate units, and making my own, but I don't feel like doing all of that. My room is medium sized, if that matters.

If you are the type to not bother mixing components, they would be really indistinguishable to you. Sony is better of you have other Sony stuff, to share the remote.
Look at Onkyo. Even better, look at Onkyo electronics and Polk speakers.

I believe the Yamaha YHT system was one of Home Theater Magazines suggested systems.
