I have lived in Spain for 20 years and have never heard that name but it would be pronounced
Pon-thee-a (in Spain)
Pon-see-a ( latin America)

It's not a very common name. I've never met a Poncia. But the Spanish alphabet is phonetic, and the names are usually spelled how they're pronounces so I would say it's pronounced "P-own-see-ah". The only other alternative I could think of is "P-own-chee-ah".

I´m not sure what name that is...but it would be pronounced ´pon-sya'...(almost like how you would say 'gracias' -- the ending part only)...(and a little more stress on the first syllable)

I've heard of Pontius being Poncio...but again not sure about this name being Spanish.

(The way you're thinking of pronouncing is towards the Italian pronounciation.)
