My first venture into ciggy smoking - Woodbines 1/3d a packet of 10.
Was never really a ciggy smoker but did it for teenage "effect" - moved onto Gauloise Disque Bleu and Passing Cloud because they looked more sophisticated.
The problem was the I was weaned on chocolate (my first food) so became a chocoholic instead.

My friends and I used to buy a big long cig that was called a diamond. It was 3 times longer than a normal cig (say a Woodbine) and we used to cut it it in 3.
I had to amend this because i wrote *** f a g which is what we called them; it was *** out!

Consulate, Regal, Embassy (in 10s, bought with my school dinner money - I cringe at that now).
I gave up after 20 years a few years ago.
I'm not smug about it though. Much.

woodbines , my gran used to smoke them and didnt keep a count i you know what I mean. She found out and would let me smoke in her house so my mam wouldnt find out.
Think about it and how hard it was to give up wish she had told me off instead!
