Hi i'm a teenage guy and i work out a lot, i do lots of different variations of the push up and i can do about 30-40 normal pushups with ease but i can't seem to do the 1 handed push up, i get halfway down then just collapse, i've tried everything to do it right but i just can't, does anyone have any tips on how to do it? thanks

Try to place your hand in the centre of your body as opposed toward one side or the other.
Spread your legs out fairly wide too. That will help give you more balance.
Instead of allowing your elbow to go out to the side like a regular push-up, try bending it back toward your body (like a yoga pushup). It also helps keep your body balanced, your weight more evenly distributed and it should be a bit easier.
Good luck!
