I had the same problem few years ago, and it is very irratating, isn't it? Well first of all as you already did don't use your straightners for couple of months, also go and have a haircut, you dont have to completely change your hair but just cut the ends and keep your hair in shape. However from then on you will have to take a good care after your hair, as even though you can't see these burned ends you hair is still damaged. You have to be much more careful, try to use a right shampoo and use conditeoner every time you wash your hair. Also try to avoid using any kinds of hair sprays, gels and so on. Give your hair a rest. It will be hard at first but at least your hair will get back to life lol so good luck and hope my advice helps!!

Cannot get the burnt hair back, so trim it for about an inch.

Jojoba oil applied to the ends of your strands keeps them soft and healthy. It can do wonders on frizzy hair too. Can also be utilized as a pre-shampoo treatment or applied to dry strands for protection during the day.

You can continue to use straightener. Use a good brand Hair straightener preferably "Chi". Costs around $100 but worth the money. never use the cheap hair straighteners.

The best way to get rid of it is to cut your hair. If you like the length and don't want that much taken off ask your hairstylist for a trim and she or he will do that. Next time if you still are using a flat iron, get some hair product that will help protect against flat iron damage. It should help alot.

The first thing i am going to suggest,, is get your hair cut into a new shortish style..this will make it look very fresh by getting rid of as most of the dead burnt hair as you can..another suggestion is use a special kind of moisterizing and repairing shampoo...this will help it to hope i helped!

Hey if you want to get rid of split ends you could cut it, or you should put apple cider viniger in your hair, let it sit for about four hours, than shampoo till the smells out, your hair will straighten easier and it will be softer, I do it every two weeks it works wondors for me

Try it and let me know what you think!!

The only thing that you can do is just go get it trimmed at the end. It will look much healthier and it won't look like it is burnt.

You can't fix burnt hair. You'll have to cut it off and go easier on your hair on the next go around. Sorry.

SORRY TO REPEAT WHAT EVERYONE ELSE IS TELLING YOU BUT, YO DO NEED TO TRIM YOUR HAIR. ALTHOUGH THERE ARE PRODUCTS FORMULATED SPECIFICALLY FOR DRY ENDS, A TRIM IS THE BEST OPTION. WHILE YOU ARE AT THE SALON, ASK YOUR STYLIST TO TRY AND SALVAGE AS MUCH OF YOUR HAIR AS POSSIBLE. ALSO, HE OR SHE CAN RECOMMEND SOME PRODUCT TO PROTECT YOU HAIR AND GIVE IT A FRESH START. DON'T GO TO A SALON THAT CARRIES THEIR OWN PRODUCT LINE, THOUGH, BECAUSE THEY MIGHT PUSH PRODUCTS THAT YOU DO NOT NEED AND YOU'LL END UP OVERSPENDING.

Cut your hair. There is nothing that can help you recover this damage, but you can use some hot oil treatments and other heavy duty conditioners and try to alleviate the damage. If you are going to straighten, use one of the expensive hang straighteners.
