I have a chest cold. I am miserable, my chest hurts a lot, I have a mild fever, I am VERY tired and my whole body hurts along with that, what can I do? I have to go to school becuase I have already missed too many days, and I don't want to miss tomorrow. Our Biology class is going to the zoo with the seniors. I'll accept anything, I know there are no overnight cures, but I'd like to get to feeling better as soon as I can. :)

I have a formula.

Buy 2 pounds of raw chickens from a produce store, carrot, celery, cilantro, and noodles.

Go home and fill your large pot with the chicken, vegetables, and herbs. Fill the pot with water and cook it. Add noodles later.

Eat and let the natural antibiotic take over your body and kill your cold and other bad virus.

You see chicken does have antibiotic (not KFC or Popeye). It must not be spoil in a way where it loses that element.

Drink a medicine that loothen up chest. Stay away from cough drop even those that contains Menthol. Not everybody know that it a poor form of supressing cough. All it take is a cough syrup medicine that relieves chest.

Stay away from cold drink. Eat hot spicy soup like Hot and Sour chinese chinese soup.

Don't forget to take Vitamen C so stock up on oranges

so, you not only want to go to school and spread your illness there, you want to go to the zoo and share it with the general public. ARE YOU TOTALLY IRRESPONSIBLE? Or maybe you just don't care....if you have a brain in your head, you will stay home until you don't have a fever for at least 24 hours. As long as you have a fever, even a low grade one, you are infectious. There ought to be a law, keeping people like you locked up, since you don't have the sense to stay home on your own.
Mucinex will help break up and thin the secretions in your chest, so your cough is effective. Drinking lots of fluids will help along those lines as well. Coughing is a protective mechanism, and you don't really want to stop until the gunk your body is trying to expell with that cough, is gone.
