you can only get discounted tickets through ITT/MWR. Disney itself does not offer any discount.
the cost depends on what type of ticket you get..park hopper, multi day, etc.

Disney does not offer discounts for military at the gate or online.. You can go to ITT at your local base and buy tickets. You only save about $8.00 a ticket though. Busch Gardens and Sea world are Free for military and families though.
EDIT: I forgt..if you are a Florida resident OR stationed in lorida with the military, you can get the "florida resident" rate at the gate which is cheaper than the couple of bucks you save buying the military tickets at ITT on base.

once you're planning on a one-day visit, you gained't discover reductions everywhere. Disney international is way larger than Disney Land/California Adventures. So Disney makes use of fee structure to "encourage" visitors to spend better than one or 2 days at Disney international. once you're paying for tickets for 3 days and up you may examine Undercover vacationer, they in basic terms record official reductions. do not assume to shop better than some greenbacks (actually like $3--$4) in line with day. do no longer attempt craigslist, roadside fee ticket cubicles or anybody else. Disney has very tight administration over their Orlando tickets and expenditures.

You would have to check it out at your post ITR. I think as far as kids the tickets go up as far as 9 years old.
