and why do spices (most of them anyways) not have any calories?

I looked it up but couldnt find it :[
I would guess about 250 calories though
about 70% of the calories you eat go to digesting and keeping your organs alive

proteins have the highest thermogenic effect, then proteins and fats. this is why high protein diets have a high rate of success for reducing body fat levels.

the only spices that would contain calories would be any that have added sugars, etc. to them. the last thing anyone has to worry about is any calories from spices or condiments.
