well i let someone used my computer and now one of the specker dose not worke can some please let me know how i can fix it or do i need new ones thanks

Does any other speaker work if not then get the full brand and model of your sound card and search the Internet for the driver for it

If one speaker is working and the other not, then you probably have a bad speaker or wire.
I would check by trying a pair of headphones and making sure your sound is fine using the headphones. If yes, then you probably need a new set of external speakers.

That is not enough info. From the info you gave me I would try reinstalling the sound drivers, unplug and plug back in the speakers. If that does not work ask them what they did and ask if they can give you the money to buy new ones.

Are u sure its the speaker?
Try to plug in headphones in computer, does headphones work?
if they do, just replace the speakers, speakers are complex that could be repaired but cost of repair would be more then cost of getting a new one's.

if it is speaker first check your wiring if they r correctly jacked..then go to your sound properties by double clicking the loud speaker icon in ur taskbar. uncheck the boxes if any......this will surely help u so don't worry................
As DAVE said, i think there's not any problem in your sound driver bcoz if there's any problem in ur sound card drivers WMP will give u a error.....so just check out the wires and sound properties and uncheck the boxes...
