Mark the 03/04 cobras come stock with a t56 6 speed transmission which is the same transmission that the vipers come with. In addition, you would not have to do an engine rebuild because the 03 cobras come with a hand build dohc 4 valve per cylinder "built" engine. "Built" means that all of the engines internal parts are forged. The 03/04 cobras are the only car that comes with a built engine for under 75k., the engines are "bullet proof" and stock from the factory are capable of handling up to 1000hp. In order for you to make over 600hp to the wheels you would have to spend about $5200. That includes a 2.6L kenne bell superchager kit and the professional install. I should know, I am doing it to my 2004 cobra in a month. I currently am running 535rwhp with my stock eaton supercharger that I got ported. I have done all the research and got the paperwork in front of me right now from my car place that is doing the order and install. $5200 includes the install and everything you will need to make over 600rwhp. Check out the website I have pasted below, it tells you everything you get in the 2.6L kit and how much rwhp you can make. If you can afford it, do it bro. I have a buddy at the track that is making 670rwhp with a 2003 cobra and a 2.6L kenne bell and his car is amazing. He runs 9.8 second 1/4 miles all day long. You dont have to upgrade anything else on your car if you are not going to the track. Like I said above, the stock tranny in the 03 cobra is the t56 which is "bullet proof". I would recomend going with drag radials on your rear wheels though, so you can actually put the power you have to the street. You can fit 315/35 R17 Nitto drag radials on your stock rims in the back. If you are going to go to the track, or if you are going to "launch" your car on a sticky surface like a tracks surface, you will need to get some level 4 half shafts so you dont brake your I.R.S. These are like $500. You will also need a roll bar if you are going to the track because if you run faster then a 11.5 1/4 mile, the track rules are you have to have a roll bar. If you dont plan on going to the track though, then you dont need anything other then the 2.6L kenne bell kit and some drag radials for your rear wheels. As long as you are not launching on a sticky track surface, your IRS will be fine in stock form. Good luck brother, if you decide to go with the kenne bell let me know. I want to hear from you how bad @#$ it is. Later.

Depends of what kind of supercharger your gonna put in and how much boost your gonna run. You're also gonna need to install an intercooler and other parts to make the supercharger compatible with your engine. Regular Cobra's put out 300+horsepower, but I would follow the setup of a Terminator cobra, as it is a blown v-8 and puts out 500+horses

I would go with Kenne Bell.To do everything right your gonna need about around 9 grand if you plan on racing it with slicks and hard launches.Just putting on a supercharger wont get you 600 horsepower.

It would cost alot to do it right. Don't be the guy who puts all his money into the engine alone, leaving the suspension, brakes, wheels/tires stock. That would be a combination for a dissaster. Invest in a good LSD and good clutch/flywheel aswell.

You are going to have to do a total rebuild of your engine. You have too many miles on your engine to just bolt on a charger... While you have it out might as well take the tranny out and get a 6-speed viper spec replacement.
