Have you had that before?
If not, I suggest you get it checked. It could be a form of strep virus infection. Strep normally is heard of in the throat, but make no mistake it can show up on your foot as well.
In any case, if you have some Triamcinolone cream you can try on it, 2x/day after you soak the foot in Epsom salts for 10-15 min. Or, you can try Nystatin, 2x/day after soaking in Epsom salt water. Both cremes are anti-fungal. I think they are both prescriptions, but some people may have them around.
Also, if the rash doesn't show any signs of improvement, or it becomes more irritated, stop the cremes and go to the doctor. It usually takes just a few applications and you can see results, one way or the other. Also watch for fever, and other weird symptoms. I'd say, go to the doctor and get it diagnosed. Most people usually wait until they can't stand it any longer... You'll have to go to the doctor, so why not go from the beginning?

Flexitol foot cream if its dry skin or an athletes foot cream if you think its a fungal infection, if you not sure get your doctor to have a look or a pharmacist

leave the foot open to the air as much as possible
change your shoes at least twice a day
if symptons persist visit your doctor

If it is Athlete's foot then try soaking it in White Vinegar, I know it sounds crazy but it works.

Do nothing to it, just wash it with cool water and after a week if it doesn't go away seek medical advice
