i was wondering because i swallow toothpaste alot and nothing happened and when i look on the back it say call the poision control and i just wondered

swallowing too much fluoride toothpaste can make you vomit, ill or kill you.
you can also develop dental fluorisis on your teeth if you are a child who swallows toothpaste.

The problem lies in swallowing large amounts, although swallowing small amounts over time can cause damage to your kidney. THe chemicals in the toothpaste (namely flouride) can be poisonous to our bodies in large quantities.

It's not poison or anything,b ut it can make you end up with an upset stomache. with the whitening toothpastes, there's peroxide in them and it's not good to injest that stuff. Spit it out, but if you swallow a little, don't fret. Just don't eat the whole tube. ;-)

I do not think much of any thing will happen, but being the poison control is an 800 call call them and let us all know.

YOU SHOULD KNOW THAT EATING TOO MUCH FLUORIDE CAN BE POISONOUS IF CONSUMED.
DO AS THE INSTRUCTIONS SAY, RINSE OUT THE EXTRA AND SPIT IT ALL OUT.
