Yes. The climate is never the same, it always changes. If it's not cooling, it's warming.

Right now there isn't any warming. The temperatures are in a slow cool phase right now.

Man is too insignificant to have any impact on the climate.

Well sort of. Global warming is the affect of man's activities on Earth's natural cycles.

So climate change would still be happening. But Global Warming by definition wouldn't as Global Warming is by definition the perversion of climate change by man.

No, we past the Holocene Thermal Maximum around 7.5 kya. at the point where the last ice age ended. Since the Holocene Thermal Maximum we have slowly been transitioning towards the next ice age, but instead of getting cooler, climate is now getting warmer and it appears if conditions persist, we may actually miss the next ice age entirely.

This chart shows that mean temperature has slowly been declining
http://www.globalwarmingart.com/wiki/Image:Holocene_Temperature_Variations_Rev_png it shows the Medieval Warm Period and at the end it shows the current rise in temperature due to anthropogenic greenhouse gases.
But then again, the next ice age wouldn't have bothered us seeing there wouldn't have been any real effect for a few thousand years.

Yes. Global warming is a natural cyclical process that evolves over tens of thousands of years. Human beings have only accelerated the process because of our "industrial revolution" of the past 150 years.
We've polluted the air, poisoned our waters, destroyed the rain forests, decimated mangrove forests, over fished the oceans, and contributed to the demise of countless species of plants and animals so necessary for our very survival.
We have been poor stewards of the planet Earth, over which we were given dominion. Why? All for our own avarice, arrogance, ignorance, creature comforts, selfishness and hubris. Our descendants will pay dearly for our excessive decadence. -RKO- 12/03/07

Yes, global warming as well as global cooling would be happening. They occurred before people arrived on the planet according to the ice core samples from Greenland.

Of course it would. The earth has been both much hotter and much colder than it is now. During the Eocene (48 to 34 million years ago) temperate forests extended right to the poles, while rainy tropical climates extended as far north as 45 degrees latitude. There weren't any humans then.
During the 9th to 11th centuries, there were vineyards in Northern England. Although there were humans , there was no powered machinery or fossil fuel use

Yes, at some point, but not so rapidly and not right now. The Earth was subtropical in the Arctic 50 million years ago, for example.

No. The earth has natural cycles of climate change which occur over thousands of years but it is not called global warming. The term "global warming" specifically refers to climate change brought about by human polution's effect on the atmosphere (carbon emission, greenhouse gases, deterioration of the ozone layer, etc.). Right now, we should actually be in the middle of a cooling trend.

All you people who think global warming is not happening, think about it logically. The scientists who discovered global warming was happening have nothing to gain by lying. They will not profit from their discovery. The multi-billion dollar corporations who are responsible for most of the pollution have everything to gain by lying. If everyone believed in the truth, these companies would have to make drastic changes, which will cost them money. Don't you think it's funny how the few scientists who discredit global warming have been given massive grants by these corporations?

You people are just trying to ignore the truth because if you believe it, then you would feel obligated to do something about. If you pretend it's not true, then you can just go plodding on with your life, not having to worry about anything but yourself.

To "Me again" - if you want people to believe you majored in biology or geology or whatever you were trying to say, at least learn how to spell it. A biography is a book about someone's life. Moron. To those of you who don't believe global warming is happening, read "Me again's" reply. This is the kind of idiot whose side you're on.

This climate change is a naturally occurring phenomenon and has been in progress for thousands of years,as is born out by the ancient civilisations, cities, villages beneath the sea now.The sea levels are continuing to rise and will do so until all the ice has thawed. Most of the earths surface will then be under water and the evolving process will continue with an ice age.
