You might want to take her into the vet again.
If she is consistently throwing up her food, you may want to try a mixture of Chicken and Rice, or ground beef and rice (half and half meat and rice) for a few days before reintroducing her to her food, and then mix her food in very slowly with the meat/rice mixture. You also may want to try switching her food to something else, maybe one for sensitive stomachs. I think wellness has a line of very basic foods that are supposed to be good for tummies.
You can also try giving her pepto-bismal or pepcid AC to see if that helps with the vomiting.
I personally would get her checked by my vet again, and if I didn't get any answers, I would take her to another vet for a second opinion. It is very possible she is allergic to lamb.
Good luck!

Dogs will vomit sometimes because they eat grass, etc. But they do not do it all the time. If your pet has pale gums, dull coat, and is losing weight then there is something terribly wrong!
Blood work does not tell everything that may be going on with your pet. Also when they do it they do not test for everything unless you ask them to. Some types of worms can only be found in the feces and you need to take it in to be checked also.
I personally would call my vet and tell them that she keeps getting sick and there has to be something wrong with her and insist that they find the problem. Ask them if you need to bring in a sample of the bowels and ask them to not stop till they find out what the problem is. There is something wrong and they just have stopped short of finding it. Vets are good at this.
My dog had blood work done and was not eating and I told my vet this. They said his blood was fine. He was a collie too. I took him back and insisted they find out what was wrong. They finally did a chest x ray and found he had fluid on his lungs from some sort of fungus, or cancer. They were not sure which but only told me he was going to die and they could do nothing.
IF I were you I would take her back till they found out the problem because she cannot go on vomiting and losing weight or she will die. I am sorry I could not help you more but there are just too many things that can cause a pet to vomit!

She may just have the flu bug. My Lab did the same thing and got over it after a week. I would try to give her lots of water so she does not get dehydrated and call the vet. She may just be weak from the delivery last year and need extra nutrition to build up her immune system. Having 9 pups can wear on a dog. My female had 9 pups in Sept and she was sick for about 6 weeks. Thank goodness she has been fine, but she was younger then your dog. So maybe your dog just needs some extra vitamins. maybe switch her food. I always feed our labs Iams.

Fone your vet hunni,
The food or the fact she had pups in dec might not have anything to do with it.
I had a 6year old border collie that started being sick, loosing weight but still ran around like a dafty when i took her to the vet we found out that she had stomach cancer:( she deid a weak later.
Even though the symptons dont seem serouse dont ever risk your dogs health, let the experts have a look:)
Good luck hope she will be okay.

If your vet ran blood work and couldn't find anything, you may want to make sure thatyour vet has wormed her (dull coat and vomiting and weight loss can sometimes be an indication of internal parasites).
A good food supplement that has lots of trace minerals and vitamins to help restore a dog that's lost a lot of weight is a product called "Missing Link." It is easy to mix with dry or canned food and my dogs liked the taste of it. Here's a link if you can't find it at a pet store near you:

However, I lost my beloved friend to a rare blood disease (kind of like leukemia). He lost weight, threw up his food, and lost the luster of his coat. . . the final disease signs were anemia -- pale whitish gums.
You may want to ask your vet to check your border collie for anemia. Anemia can be a sign of an auto-immune disease, and since these diseases are more rare than typical doggy ailments, he/she may not be familiar with them.

Good luck to you both,

possible your poor dog has swallowed some thing which has caused a problem with it intestine. This needs to be looked at ASAP. When it throws up is the food only partly digested.
Hopefully it my just be a bad case of worms, but if that were the case the poor thing would be dragging its rear end.

Okay, first of all, think what you are feeding her. Lamp and Rice dog food. Of course she will be sick. This type of dog-food is not intended for dogs! Just the same way cookies and ice cream and pizza is not intended for humans! Forget the advertisements. In this consumer society, they will try and sell you anything.
If you want to take care of your dog, I suggest thinking about what dogs ate before all that "champ-chowder" crap.
My family had a dog. We would usually feed him raw meat and yogurt at times. Then we switched to the dog food crap.
Our dog ended up with a cancerous lump on his back. That's when we realized that it's in the food.
We changed back to feeding him regular raw meat, just the way a dog is intended to ear, and he got better! The lump disappeared!
So think about it! Dogs are not intended by nature to eat biscuit and all that other crap they try and sell you.
How have dogs survived for hundreds of years if before they didn't have biscuits available to them?
They survived on, obviously, raw food!
Think about it!
Was the human body designed to consume pizza and ice cream? NO! Why? Because the stone-age humans survived on natural raw food!
Only in the past 100 years have we gone to processed foods! That's why there are so many sick people on prescription drugs!
Don't buy into their advertising crap! There is always a natural way!

I would take her to a different Vet. Obviously you current Vet doesn't care much about finding whats wrong with her. Some times it helps to get another view on things, a different Vet might find something your current Vet missed.

She really needs to go to the vet. Sounds like she is dehydrated & need to be put on an IV. She may have worms...even if you have given her worm medicine. She may have problems that need attention right away. Call the vet! Please don't wait. If you were sick would you go to the doctor or just wait & hope you didn't die. Bless her heart.
