No. I use it because I have found by work and research that it is actually the "Truth".
A hammer is a hammer. You can gussy it up. Tie bows on it. Paint it. Call it "Charlie". But it is still a hammer.
God's Word has proved to be true. The requirements for worship that God approves are in the Bible. This would be the "Truth".

Truth is an absolute. The devil is trying to confuse people by calling lies and deceptions the truth. There is one truth and it remains constant. Christians know this truth and will hold to it even in the crapstorm of deceptions that are mislabelled " truth" that are flying around out there.

Very simple.
Science deals in things that are called "facts". Those are things that you can measure, experiment on, weight, etc.
Religion deals in things that are called "truths". Those are things which answer non-scientific question, such as "What is the meaning of life?", "What is the basis of morality?", "Who is God and how does man relate to him?"
So of course an discussion about religion is going to deal with "truth" frequently.

Well, there can only be one truth. That's the nature of truth. Whereas falseness does not exist on its own, it is simply the absence of truth.

I happen to think that you are on to something there. Would "Truthiness" perhaps serve their causes better? I believe so.
