Christianity is a "kinder, gentler" form of killing millions of people. Of course, by killing heathens and heretics, they are being prematurely dispatched to hell, according to Christian belief. So from a Christian point of view, it should be considered an even worse atrocity. After all, if somebody's going to burn for eternity, breathes there a soul so dead that wouldn't cut the poor heathen a little slack and let him live to a ripe old age before the eternal damnation thing kicks in?

the difference i guess is in their intention. Although even that is questionable at times, if you think in terms of the inquisition. But while you may say that Inquisition is an utter fanatic form of Catholicism, you cannot say that about Nazism - for Nazism that's just it.

Your question is imprecise. Nazism and Christianity are belief systems, they are incapable to killing anyone. About the only "ism" that can kill is "botulism". But perhaps you feel that Christianity is toxic because many have died at the hands ot its believers? What about atheism and the tens of millions who died in the 20th century at the hands of its believers (Lenin, Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot, etc.)? I know a number of Christians who, in following their beliefs, try to make this a better, kinder, and more humane world. Most atheists impress me as embittered, Mensa-society wannabes.

I'm not being hostile but, why do so many non believers claim to be those who have intelligence yet, refuse to show any sign of it when they make a statement or address a question? Do they harbor so much hatred and animosity that it even hampers their ability to think critically?
No, there is no difference between them. They both disobeyed the Commandments of God: "You shall not murder - Exodus 20:13.
'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like (related to) it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments." - Matthew 22:37-40.
The man who says, "I know him (Jesus)," but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in him. - 1 John 2:4.
Understand this; man's deeds in accordance with faith in God confirm who he really obeys, regardless of who he claims to represent. It's that simple.

There is no comparison. The nazis killed a ton of people over a very short period of time and in terrible ways with no regard to age, etc.
Religious battles have gone on for centuries and include most all of the major religions. Christianity is not based solely on hating people and does not seek the ultimate goal of killing everyone for a greater good.

If people are out there killing people, I can promise you they aren't following Jesus or adhering to true Christianity. They may think they are, but they're not! Jesus never killed or injured anyone. If they were behaving like true Christians, they would be imitating Jesus and they would be gentle, like Jesus.
If a kid called himself a bird and then ate your candy, could you say in all fairness, "birds are bad because they eat my candy?" Of course not! You can't blame birds if a kid CALLS himself a bird and eats your candy. In the same way, it would be innaccurate to blame Christianity for what people do when they're just CLAIMING to be following Christianity. I hope this helps.

People ( I doubt millions ) were killed in religious wars . In those wars Christians killed Muslims , and Muslims killed Christians .
In Nazi Germany , millions of people were marched into gas chambers and murdered . They did not fight back . They had no weapons .
If you see no difference , I feel very very sorry for you .

Christianity got millions killed in the name of God, while Nazism didn't... so that's OK, apparently.
Best rationalization I can come up with... not that I believe it at all.

'Nazism' and 'christianity' are merely labels used by the satanic consciousness to create confusion. Read scripture, you will learn that the 'christ' that claims to be the Christ, is NOT the 'Christ'.
He who says he loves God who he can not see and does not love his brother who he can see is a liar and the truth is not in him.
The world is in the darkness of the selfish ego, the 'satanic consciousness' - when people awaken, they will see the error of their ways and the answer to this and a multitude of similar questions shall become crystal clear.
God is Love and those that Know God, Love their neighbour as themselves.

Well, Ath, Communists killed millions of people too, as have dozens of other regimes, belief systems, races and political entities.
We are a killing kind. Sad, but true.
Sadder that, with your question, you're trying to exploit the fear and hatred once again.
