Relax. Every 6-7 years you'll experience some type of "The Earth is Ending" fear that's going around.

If you believe everyone of these then you'll have a miserable life.

Shut off the news, stop reading the papers. You will never notice any change in the climate during your life, it just isn't happening.

In time "global warming" will be forgotten about the same way as SARS, Avian Flu, Killer Bees, and Y2K.

The world is NOT ending. The end of the world is NOT near. I know it is hard to ignore all the gloom and doom stories that are so common, especially on the web, but really, they are all false! People are taking some idea or problem and just totally misinterpreting it to make it seem like the end of the world, but trust me, the world is a better place now than at any time in history. I mean, here we wit in our comfortable homes, typing messages on a world wide communication system, with plenty of food to eat and we are worried about the world ending? How do you think the people of the middle ages felt when over half of everybody they knew got sick and died from a horrible disease? How about the people in world war two, where bombs were blowing up houses next door! Or the cold war of the 1960s where we were one push of a button away from blowing up every city in the world with nuclear missiles? Really, there is NOTHING to worry about today in comparison. Global warming? Ha! It will take 100 years for the effects to even be noticeable. By then we will have changed all our technology to the point that it isn't a problem any more. Mayan calendar says world will end in 2012? Get real! They Mayans could not predict the future. Anyway it is only some modern idiots who read the old calendar and say it says the world will end, the Mayans never though that. And on and on and on. There are always people who say the world is about to end. Thousands of people say that ever year. They have been doing that for thousands of years, and they are NEVER right. The world will NOT end for millions of years at least.

When hard times come either through economic ways or natural disasters everyone becomes a little frightened. But you can't not have kids and put your life on hold b/c of this. If everyone put there life on hold during the cold war when all americans were scared to death of being hit by a nuke from russia then we wouldn't have what we have today. There will always be situations to overcome. But that's the beauty of life, you have situations that you overcome and move on. that's the key is to always push ahead. You'll be fine dear, I'm sure and this global warming issue if it is caused by man, then obviously we can fix it. If it is natural then it will get cooler again. That's what I don't like about this whold Global Warming mess. They show this Al Gor documentary in classs all over the world and scare the hell out of kids, and it's not cool. Scare tactics are a bunch of BS. So listen, don't sweat this, it will pass, if you believe in god then you definitely don't have anything to worry about. So just step back take a look around and keep on keeping on. If you wanna have a baby when your older have one, but don't worry about it until it is that time. Anyway, keep your head up and trust me things will get better. I hope I helped.

The world is not coming to an end. The best way to overcome your fears is to talk to a science teacher or to read a book about the subject of climatology. I don't know how old you are but you can find very easy to read books on the subject at your local library. Ask a librarian to help you find something that explains global warming.

I remember when I was a kid I read something about the world coming to an end and I was so scared I couldn't even talk to my parents about it, but I called my grandmother and asked her and she told me not to worry because she heard the same thing when she was little too.

The Earth as we know it is safe until our sun expires, which will not happen for a couple of billion years!

The world won't end. At worst there might be some drastic changes. But life will go on. There is no point in making yourself scared.

Scaring small children and ignorant adults is part of the method they use.

When they forced school kids to watch Gore's bogus movie(proven to be almost completely false), many were traumatized and went home crying and telling their parents that if they don't turn off the lights the polar bears would die. Kids don't understand when they're being lied to. I think lying to children is despicable and Gore should be held accountable for his lies. Especially since polar bears are actually increasing in numbers.

Nevertheless, don't let all the propaganda get to you. They use guilt and scare tactics to make you feel responsible for natural events that are not endangering the earth anyway.

So don't let it bother you. It's all a bunch of lies. You can believe in it if you want to and be scared all the time if you choose, but it's just a big hoax.

Try reading up on the subject. Knowledge conquers fear.

I hope you feel better soon.

Its global warming now but tomorrow it will be something else. There are things you can change and there are things you can not change. Don't deprive you future children of life(and some great guy you will meet). Don't let the doomsayers control you or your decisions. Live life to its fullest and enjoy what you have.

Since your question is in the global warming section I'll assume that that is what is scaring you. Everything you hear about humans destroying the earth should be taken with a grain of salt.

There are extremist that want you to be scared.

Hopefully you can see that the intent is to scare you, make you feel like you're the problem.

Don't be scared to have kids, I have three of my own. Despite people saying doom and gloom you and your children live in a world of opportunity that has never exsisted since man was put on the earth. The idea is to raise your children to be good, wise, and honest.

Happiness and hope start with gratitude. Be thankful for the things you have.

Jesus, that's sad, see that's what the liberal's get for trying to teach kid's that polar bears will all be killed.

Just face it, even "if" it happens then we can defiently find a solution, i mean think if we didnt have kids then who would help solve it when were old. so go ahead and look foward to it, i am.

seek a psychiatrist or a team of... because you are being brain washed! You have to look at both side of the story and make up your own mind.... I'm sure Al Gore probably told you not to have babies and mostlikely he can help you achieve that as long as you dont tell your parents
