I'm doing a report for class and I know how to make an Index, but when I go to insert it in the document, it won't let me do it. I've got all my entries marked and everything, and it won't insert the Index. What am I doing wrong??

Could we have more information? What messages (if any) do you see? What have you tried?

Also, please realize that questions drift downstream as the day goes on. Providing more information in this question itself won't necessarily reach the people who can help you. (I'm not likely to read it again myself.) It's a better idea, especially after this question has been up for a few hours, to post a new question with more information.
