If you have flu, you shouldn't be trying to go out anyway.
Stay in bed. Drink lots of hot things: I favor hot tea with lemon, ginger, and honey when I'm sick. A very close second is beef bouillon.
If you can handle it, try eating hot spicy foods: The substance that gives the hot taste to food is also one that a lot of germs don't like. And it will help clear your sinuses too.

Sounds weird i know but this is factual as tested by scientists in Canada...
Put "vick's" on the bottom of your feet when you are going to bed..be sure to wear socks...apparently you will get the best nights sleep along with permanent relief when you awake.
