Christians and muslims are dumb because they base their belief on faith, which means, do not question , just follow what is written in the book . The church and mullahs has to say that because otherwise, the Bible or the koran becomes a crock, with many inconsistencies and many things that simply do not make sense.
most of the pastors and mullahs are uneducated and have a IQ level of a adult monkey or a 2 year old child.
So they stay dumb and traditional for another couple of years?

I think we are only at the beginning of civilized religion falling. I hope it happens within my lifetime.

If you need to ask here to find out if this is true, then I would like to suggest that you have your IQ tested. I believed in Jesus and had faith in Him without ever talking to a pastor about it. Many pastors are extremely intelligent and very knowledgable (I say many, because, unlike you, I won't stereotype and there are some unintelligent pastors too) and have college educations as well as seminary training. The Bible does not make sense to you because you do not have the Holy Spirit within you to help you understand it. You fear that which you do not understand, so you mock it. The Bible makes perfect sense to anyone that takes the time to study it (not just read it) and is full of truth AND logic. My husband and I are not dumb (we both have IQ's in the genius [145] and gifted [135] range and are fundamentalist Christians.). Guess not everyone fits into your theory. (I refrain from commenting on Mullahs because I am not Muslim)

I don't believe this. There ARE a lot of dumb people that belong to various faiths, but there are also those people who belong to certain faiths and yet retain their right to question. Jesus himself was a Jew, but he just changed Jewish tradition when he felt like it. They told him that it was unlawful to work on the Sabbath, but he simply said, "I AM the Sabbath." I bet that really pissed them off. I think Jesus was an exceptionally bright man because, although he was a Jew, he looked at Judaism with the belief that his religion was malleable. I simply suggest that those who would adhere to a particular religious system do the same as Christ did, and change it when it needs changing.

No it is not true.

Dr. Jack Van Impe for example has a very High I.Q. and a Photographic memory and has memorized a vast amount of scripture.

My pastor as are many have Doctorate degrees in many areas.

But you can believe what you want.

What is your question? Either you believe or you don't. You have faith in the Lord as your saviour or you don't. You have free will to choose your own beliefs. Is this a statement of what you believe or are you really curious about something?

I wouldn't call them dumb. Logically blind is a better term. A lot of people are brainwashed by religion from birth. Some just have a hard time of shaking it off.

People are people first, so if they're going to be unkind, it's coming from the person first, not necessarily the religions. Many simply use religions as an excuse to execute their hate or other agendas.

I'm pretty sure that the higher up the echelons of religious power you go, the less they are believers and the more they are just in it for the power, wealth and prestige. Any smart religious leader is probably really an atheist, just conning his followers for his own ends.

Your definition of faith is a little off. Faith is when you trust God in the good times as well as the hard times.
