If God DID exist, and God wanted us to worship her, then how come she doesn't fly down to earth and tell us that we should worship her?

No, God is not worthy of our worship. Most religions face all sorts of obstacles to peace of mind by having to resolve contradictions with empirical science by using no end of intellectual acrobatics (aka "interpretation"). The Flying Spaghetti Monster is worthy of our worship, instead.

Before I joined the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster, I would spend years toiling in the laboratory as an experimental physicist trying to answer the simplest questions about the world to no avail, leaving yawning gaps in my understanding. And, when questions *were* answered, the answers just prompted more questions that could not even have been conceived beforehand. As a Pastafarian, this is no longer the case. I understand now that everything can be trivially explained in a way that cannot be disproved. And, that is by the action of His Noodly Appendage. It is true that it requires faith to believe in The Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster, since it actually cannot be proven either, but the Gospel teaches that such faith is actually a virtue to be rewarded in the afterlife by beer volcanoes and stripper factories. Besides, there are numerous academic endorsements [1]. My once insatiable hunger to find explanations has finally been satisfied by a self-consistent set of principles, and I am finally at peace. I now concentrate on more productive pursuits, like dressing up as a pirate to combat global warming [2]. Praise be the Flying Spaghetti Monster, RAmen.

That's what the word "faith" is supposed to cover. No one that believes in God honestly has any proof that what they believe is right. No one really has good proof of anything, if so, there wouldn't be a question.

But I personally think it's ridiculous. I think that the "god" character is supposed to be a male. If you think about it, all he wants you to do all day is thank him for everything and worship him all day long - why? Just because "he created you"....

If someone is honestly as "all mighty and powerful" as "god" is, don't you think they could get over themselves a little? What kind of a person would god be if you put all his characteristics into a man or woman? Would that make up a good person? It's just like having a child and telling them to worship you all day because you did have them...

I have many many times denied the holy spirit and shouted to the skies for god to strike me down or do something to prove his existence, and nothing happened. You would think he would at least try to make sure no one doubted his existence by making sure his "word" (bible) didn't have plenty of loopholes....

By caling God a her it is clear you have some picture in mind now the human brain has to evolve to such fine heights to even understand just the basics of things around us leave alone life.I suggest that we all believe in the existance on an almighty and simply do our work with interest and maintain relationships and celebrate festivals et all and just enjoy life instead of behaving in a childish manner .We are all the same pray at troubled times make merry othervise ...so growup there are many things our scientists have yet to figure out and many thay arent sure of so believe your parents and visit your place of Prayer just to have some peace of mind and try to expand your horison of thinking the picture is there now build respect around it.

It's stupid to do things like cloister oneself away into a nunnery, withhold sex or masturbation or other pleasant things from yourself, and other such nonsense simply because the Bible or someone reading it has told you it's sin.

If a God doesn't want people to break its rules, it should enforce them, otherwise it seems safe to assume that the rules exist at most as a guide but not as a rulebook to live by.

Answering a question about God is difficult because the term means different things to different people. I don't know that it is possible for any thinking beings as limited as humans to agree on what God even means.

no, no, no, no, no and no. Your suggestions is all incorrect. saying that Adam and Eve have been the only 2 human beings ALIVE they did no longer flow to "church". Church is the call of believers from international extensive in each united states of america and ever volume of time... so i assume technically, Adam and Eve have been the church, based on the type you look at it. funds isn't a call for to flow to church. Whoever advised you that replaced into thoroughly incorrect. Christians are meant to grant 10% of what we earn lower back to God out of affection and in thank you for offering, even regardless of the undeniable fact that it is not a call for to "flow to church".

HER?
Where did you get that?

God is a spirit.

You know how people say to their kids, Santa doesn't show himself because he wants you to 'believe' in him.

Thats pretty much it, not cheapening it, because I believe in God, but, thats the best way I can think to explain it right now, and I'm gonna get alot of flack for leaving it that way...

Choosing life is common sense.

Love of our heavenly Father is a choice.

God is manifested through His Word.

To day, if you will hear His voice.

Psa 95:7 For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To day if ye will hear his voice,
