Hello,

(ANS) Most ISP's offer some way (method) to find out how much you have downloaded or uploaded per month. Or how much you have used from your allowance if you are on a set data transfer amount.

I can highly recommend this excellent free-ware which allows you to measure your own download & upload transfers.

Net Meter Home page http://readerror.gmxhome.de/

Hope that's of use?

Kind Regards Ivan

How To Check Download Usage

If you Google "bitmeter" withouth the inverted commas you will get a list where you can download BitMeter from. You can set this to tell you your total downloads over the course of a month. If for example yor download limit is 40gb youe enter that plus the day you start & it shews the amount you`ve downloaded. It`s really simple to use. Worth a look

Everything that you use will go into upload download usage. And not only that add 20 % of what you use to the MB. In the background windows will be checking the latest updates, virus definitions,... etc. That too will add up to your MB.

What? Could you please add details to your question so it is clearer what you wish to know? I have never heard of "download usage" limits! I have heard of hard disk usage limits, but that is not the same as a limit on how many files you can download from the Inernet.

I'd love to know the answer to this too!
I WAS with BT originally and they actually advertise that you have access to see how much of your upload and download limits you have used - but I never managed to find out how!
