I have ICopyDVDs2 program and the DVD43 as well. I think I need to upgrade my DVD43 but I am unable to find the website. I know it gets changed a lot. I would like to stick with a free program and I'm already family and enjoy the one I have now. I just need another copyright override. I copy a lot of our kids DVD's so they don't scratch or break the originals and we still have the originals in case it does happen!

Thanks so much!

In response to the first answer: I am not looking to be breaking laws, I am not selling them. They are staying in my own household and I am an not teaching my children that 'stealing' is the right thing to do. It is for my own personal use, just the same as burning mp3's onto CD's. I am not asking for a lesson in morals. My children are being raised just fine. You are not to judge me.

What you are doing is illigal, and you can get into a lot of trouble. It is stealing, plain and simple.

The reason that the software you use keeps moving its website is because the programmer of the application is breaking the law and moves the site on a regular basis to avoid getting caught and going to prison for a very long time.

Listen, if you want to "preserve" your childrens DVDs, simply take care of the originals, or go out and buy another one if you allow it to get ruined. I keep my DVDs for years, and they do not get ruined, and I raised eight children.

What you are doing is not only illegal, but immoral and simply wrong, and those who do this lack integrity. Is this how you wish to raise your children, to think stealing is OK, that breaking the law if it is convientent, is OK? Good grief, and people wonder what is wrong with our youth these days. With parents who lie and steal its no wonder they grow up to do the same. This is no different than your taking your child to a store and stuffing a DVD into their stroller or backpack!

I do not think it is illegal to make a back up copy of something you own to use in your own house. I made copies of my CD's that I keep in my car. Sorry I do not use those those programs so I can't help you with that.
