Yes... I find Pepsi to have a "sharper" taste, and Coke (since they changed the formula long ago) to have a smoother, more syrupy-sweet taste.

Now if I could easily buy the Coke that's still manufactured in various other countries which has real cane sugar in it (like the old days) instead of high fructose corn syrup, I'd definitely prefer that!

Yes. Coke has stronger taste compared to Pepsi. I happened to work in a Pepsi plant while my friend in Coke and when we compared our notes, Coke has greater gas and sugar content.
...and if your a coke or pepsi customer, you would definitely taste the difference once you taste one from the other.

Yes there is. The ingredients used are different :)

Quotes from wikipedia.com .

"Pepsi-Cola contains basic ingredients found in most other similar drinks including carbonated water, high fructose corn syrup, sugar, colorings, phosphoric acid, caffeine, citric acid and natural flavors"

Coke : "Published accounts say it contains or once contained sugar crystals, caramel, caffeine, phosphoric acid, coca leaf and kola nut extract, lime extract, flavoring mixture, vanilla and glycerin."

This may not be absolutely correct as I have used Wikipedia as a source. If you want to know more I would suggest using databases, or even better finding a book.

Yes. Pepsi is based on a slightly more lemon taste, and Coke is based on a slightly more orange taste.

Yes. Coke has less flavor, but it's more syrupy. It also tastes saltier. As you've probably guessed, I'm a Pepsi fan.

Yes, in fact they were designed that way...

Coke has more bitterness and was designed for an older, more taste-sophisticated taste and Pepsi was designed sweeter and more for a young person's taste.

I actually like both and no, neither one is really any good for you and no, neither will truly quench your thirst as both have caffeine and caffeine dehydrates you.
