Cooks Illustrated and Fine Cooking (Taunton Press) are two sites, but they are pay sites (even if you have a subscription to their publications!!!) But they are the two that I rely on a lot.....also, all the major food manufacturers have websites for use of their products

another source that you might want to look at for not only recipies, but also products are
-- Wilton.com-- good for baking (and it has alot of recipies for products that they sale like gumpaste, fondant, etc. and it is alot cheaper)
