Why do fundamentalists find evolutions so deroggatory? I'd much rather be descended from apes than formed of powdered excrement and held together with the slobber of many many animals--do they give any thought to what goes on in a river? If we came from THAT, then why are thyphoid and malaria poisonous to us?

I would rather be jumping around in the trees having a great old time, like the spider monkies I watch at the zoo. In fact, some people are still at that stage. I envy them.

LMAO...

Monkey all the way :p

If we came from dirt, wouldn't we share a lot of the same DNA? Wait a minute... does dirt even have DNA? ;)

I'm confused by all this, the bible says God made us out of dirt, but yet science has proved that we are very closely related to our primate cousins... if man and monkey share so much DNA, how are we not related when the bible tells us that we are made from just dirt and god's breath?

Seems like you are talking about the same thing. Evolution says we came from muck and evolved from a monkey. We say we were created by a mighty God.

none above, i rather be form of the dust of the earth and GOD breath his spirit into me..and LIGHT BE.as HE IS LIGHT!
and so as GOD is..so am I..a reflection of LOVE, LIGHT AND TRUTH.
those who want to reflect an animal or whatever.
they will eventually be hunted down and destroyed..not a good pattern..of having a good life.

I don't know about you, but I didn't evolve from some hairy ape...I was wonderfully and fearfully made by the hands of the Living God...made in His Holy Image...and He loves me. That is really all that matters.

no matter what mental gymnastics you try to play (in this case you've made it quite clear) what you are saying is that you, and the rest of humanity are worth no more than pond scum.

That we are no different from roaches, why should we stomp on a roach and not on eachother. Why should our species as humans have more worth than any other?

Something about this question, despite your obvious good looks, has made my breakfast ooze up my esophagus a bit.

If you go back still farther we are descended from amphibious creatures, and farther yet from fish.
