You won't find a large level of support for the monarchy, but strangely not a great support for a republic either.

Don't trust YA polls where people just jump on populist band wagons.

The monarchy in the United Kingdom is not a passing fashion. We have had a monarchy for the best part of 1000 years (albeit with an unscheduled interruption by Cromwell). Opinion polls in relation to the monarchy are not given much attention, however they are always in favour of keeping the Monarchy. However, negative opinion alone would never oust The Queen : it would take civil war and utter carnage.

most people are in favour of the current queen staying, but basically, when charles becoems king, many people may become anti-royal. I believe there was a bbc survay a while ago on the subject, and that may be floating around on their website somewhere....sorry i can't be of much more help. x
