Wow, I love that people can't see the sarcasm in your question. Since I'm a person who believes GW is naturally occurring I say I love sports and I'm looking forward to the Olympics.
Also we have been recycling since the 70's and maybe even before that, but it's the 70's and after that I remember, because I was too young before the 70's to have solid memories of what happened before then.
So those new recruits to doing the right thing for the environment should shut their cake holes. Also it's not always practical for people to change how they get around. So stop harassing people.

Rosie, with reference to the enslavement remark, he does have a element. Your unique question ability that you worry about international warming, you imagine this is a difficulty, and also you at the prompt are questioning what you may do about it. i'm hoping it really is properly with the aid of the undeniable fact that appears to be like your wondering on the prompt. Now enable's communicate hypothetically for a minute. enable's say we are now in a era of international cooling. and through better study we detect that this era of cooling is with the aid of decreased image voltaic pastime and sunspot pastime mixed with a 30 12 months cool component to the Pacific Decadal Oscillation? Now enable's quickly ahead to 2020 the position international temperatures are slowly taking position and are predicted to proceed a downward cooling trend till a minimum of 2050. this is going to reason large worry on mankind, much better than any warming might want to have. So now the following we are in 2020 and we glance lower back at 2009 and attempt to determine out why you concept you had to diminish CO2 or maybe if else guy change into doing contained in the perception that guy change into doing most of the warming the planet even as all alongside mom nature had administration of (maximum of) the elements a lifeless ringer for continuously. then you honestly want to look on the way you got here to that inaccurate perception. this is the position enslavement comes into play back. Enslavement is getting someone to adhere to a doctrine to the great thing about the guy dictating the doctrine. This frequently sounds sinister before each thing look, yet in case you studied heritage in any respect you'll discover the line to hell laid low with nicely meaning human beings and techniques. And basically note, that between the coolest factors of a doctrine of this nature is this is presented as sturdy and properly or maybe moral and any opposite opinion is a few thing to be reviled. also note that technology does no longer paintings in that way. contained eventually, i'm no longer declaring this is genuine for you and climate replace, yet you'd be niave no longer to a minimum of provide it a touch severe concept about if no longer for your modern-day reason although the way you opt to adhere to next causes. Be autonomous, thoughtful, curious and objective.

The problem with most who are "against" any action taken to reduce greenhouse pollution is, they are locked in a paradigm of the "here and now". Their is no convincing anyone who is suffering from this to see outside the box or to ever be able to convince them that doing the right thing for the globe is the right thing for America. Reality is, we must change our waste full ways regardless of global warming and climate change. This is because we are living unsustainable and are leaving a very messed up world for the next few generations to fix, if they even can.

This is a really low form of psychological warfare... and more crap to detract from a real issue by playing off of emotional distress and short circuiting intelligent discussion of a very serious issue.
So what's next?
Throwing abortion, creationism and the death penalty into the mix?
I had a little respect for you and some of your lobotomized followers in this forum, but you've crossed a line with this type of leading question that I hope will enlighten some of these people that have been duped... but they've been saying America is getting dumber and not smarter for some time now...

for the limited amout of people that travel to and from a game or even the amount of co2 uesd in makeing and telivising the game would not even amout to the single day to day operation of say any tv show news reports or even sope opera shows or how about this there are what 600 members of the congress lets make them stay home and use computers so they dont have to travle and then lets look at day to day travel of air planes the co2 emited from them lets make them stop to
for the amount of people that go to games and watch the games there are 6 times the amount of energy and co2 emited from that in every day life for this country

Dude, I live for sports!!! If there weren't sports, then most of us would be even fatter than before and the amount of jobs that are created by sports are almost immeasurable. If you can find appropriate jobs for these people that are currently involved in the sports industry, I'd nominate you for a Nobel...

First of all, let us understand that global warming is a cyclical event. We have had and will have little effect on this event. To think that we have had or will have is arrogant.
This cyclical event is every 1500 years.
Sports, therefore, has nothing to do with global warming.

Think of all those people flying in on jets and private jets.
All the TV reporters etc etc providing a HUGE carbon footprint.
Now for the reality.
Those who scream man-made global warming are not about to give up anything.
They will want others but not themselves.
