ever since i quit smoking ive been eating like a cow, and im starting to notice ill eat alllll dayyy long! im trying to drink more water now,and would like to know what i could eat that wouldnt put on the pounds! thanks for your input

for optimum fat loss you really want to decrease the carbohydrate intake, especially between meals. controlling insulin is the key to controlling body fat.

meals should always be protein based, the same applies to snacks. proteins cause the least increase in blood sugar and insulin when compared to carbs and fats. some easy snacks to make are boiled eggs (just remove the yoke), beef jerky, chicken tenders, low carb protein powders/drinks and of course all sorts of vegetables. some other low carb snacks are nuts and seed but these are high fat sources and the calories add up quickly so you must monitor the consumption of these.

I quit too and drink a ton of water. I'm on a low carb/high protein diet, so I eat small meals 5-7 times a day. I consider a protein bar or shake as a meal. I buy the low carb varieties of these products.
Congrats on quitting! It's been 11 weeks for me now and I don't miss it a bit.
P.S. I also ate sugar free candy when I had a craving but have lessened those now.

carrots, celery, almonds. and you can dip veggies in peanut butter and if you like raisins you could put the pb on your celery and top with raisins! its a cute way to snack haha
