Why do guys only want what they can't have? And then when they can have it.. they don't want it anymore? It drives me crazy! I know its the thrill of the chase but there has to be something that makes them want a relationship rather than just "chasing" for the rest of their lives.

Funny you asked this because someone earlier in this year asked the same question! It is the thrill of the chase but also its the thought that they will have something someone else already has. I did an experiment for one fo my classes when I was in college(did not graduate..didn't and still don't know what I want to be when I grow up..sad I'm 25..lolz..)Anyways back to what I was talking about! My class experiment was with children! And as we as women know men are like children! There where two little girls (my neices) that I used. I gave one a ball and the other a doll I myself was holding a balloon. The first child played with her doll for a while and saw that the second child had a ball..she wanted it..I picked it up and gave her the ball but once she got it she didn't want it anymore. She was no longer interested in the ball..she went right back to her doll..the same thing goes for men.

They see someone they like and if she has a boyfriend they want her more. But once the chase is done they don't want her anymore because it was too easy to get her. They like the chase they like the games..its has something to do with psycology.... here this is it! Found it in my old psycology book from college!

“Psychological Reactance”: People don’t like to be told they can’t have or can’t do something. It’s related to not wanting to be controlled by others, especially if the situation feels unfair or arbitrary. The “reactance” is both emotional and behavioral.

It isn't only men who are like that. Women are the same. Everyone goes through different stages of seriousness and carelessness. Most times, people eventually stop chasing each other and settle down with someone they love.

It's the primal cavemen inside their hearts. When older they just watch others hunt on TV. I think men are more attractive hunting rather than gathering on the couch. Although they smell the same hunting or couching.
Women have cavemen desires too, we use our primal desires to hunt for bargains.

Let me tell you something as a guy, guys will always want slim tall fair attractive girls, belive me in this, guys never give up on them girls, guys respect them, never lie to them, never cheat, never disrepect them, if guys dont chase anymore its because they realised they can do better & got better, they only wanted u cuz they were desperate & cudnt get anyone better or anyone for that matter, girls who make guys chase are weak insecure & unattractive really, guys will always want slim tall fair pretty girls & they do get them, belive me, even unattractive guys get them girls, so average girls really dont have a chance, belive me & trust me in this, Peace.
