get over an ex that completely crushed me but i totally loved (and sadly still do). We have had several hit and miss flame restarters but i guess he just likes to keep putting that fire out. he quit talkin to me for a while and last week he started sendin me horrible cold hearted texts but i seen him on saturday when he came in from college and he told someone that he really missed me and still loved me and wished he could talk to me. I texted him lastnight askin if he wanted to talk to me and he just played around action like he did kinda but still wanted to be mean so i ended up not talkin to him. I know he has hurt me so bad but how do i just finally close that chapter in my life and turn off that love and flame that still burns at me and keeps me on his leash coming back. It crushes me

Find someone or something you can feel as intense for or more. If not, your left waiting on that feeling to die down in intensity while your life begans to feel more meaningful and intense, a process that takes lots and lots of time and acceptance. Just don't make a mistake and go after another guy like him, thats just trading one evil for another. Also try to spend this time learning the lessons you learned here, a big one is that LOVE isn't enough, its HOW you love, seems thats the biggest lesson you need to learn here.....
