I don't remember the user manual saying anything about temperature precaution. Just wanted to make sure it'll be ok in the glove box for the winter. Temperatures here generally go as low as -2 degrees below 0 and high as 100 degrees F.

Thanks!

I have seen many GPS units that have numbers in their manuals about their operation in different temperatures. They are usually related to the units turn on time when you plug it in your car. When the temperature is too high or too low the unit will take longer to get a connection.

All electronics are going to be effected by extreme temperatures. They may just slow the unit or make the display strange but they can also damage the unit.

As long as your unit is not constantly in these temperatures then you should be fine. You may just notice it takes your unit longer to connect to the satellites.

I would not leave it in the car in extreme temperatures. Below freezing temperatures can cause the unit to shrink and the plastic housing to crack over time and likewise in extreme heat, the plastic housing can expand and warp so that the screen might become loose. The circuitry is designed to withstand moderate temperatures, but exposure to temps below 25 and above 100 degrees Fahrenheit are not ideal for the long life of the unit !

Yes, extreme high and low temperatures will affect it. Your nav unit has a built-in hard drive inside for the maps and database ans is sensitive to extreme temperature changes.

I would not leave it in the glove box for the winter or during summer.

often it makes issues decrease. the testicles are pulled up antagonistic to the body somewhat than putting loose. The scrotum is going from being tender, gentle, and dishevelled, to being stifly wrinkled and small - no longer dishevelled in any respect, yet comfy with the testicles. on occasion even as this is somewhat chilly the top will pop up contained in the shaft epidermis of the penis and conceal. *** anytime i'm entering right into a cool swimming pool - prompt erection. i do not comprehend why this is, yet chilly water flips that change.

During the winter, it takes my Garmin about 2 - 3 minutes to warm up hard drive.

All Electronic Items have its own working temperature.
If not indicated.

Just check the place if it is misting, or have moistures inside the car. All Electronic Items stop functioning when they moist inside.
