-Global warming isn't happening because the guy who started the Weather Channel said so.
-Global warming isn't happening because it's a socialist plot
-Global warming isn't happening because Liberals just want my SUV

The silliest would have to be "I just think so"
They often try to conflate issues so lets take a stab at that.
When I see the "just because" argument it reminds me of a Frontline special about the Little Rascals Daycare scandal back in 1989.
Without a doubt child abuse is horrifically bad and the perps should be punished. But what happened in this case, and others, was that the parents and prosecution were mislead by hysteria, pseudoscience and bias. It took ten years but the defendents were cleared.
In one interview, a parent, ignoring the evidence, concluded the defendants were guilty because "I just know they did it". Why? Because she was biased and had a vendetta against these people.
She, and the popular clique in town, didn't like them and that was all the proof she needed.
Some deniers think the same way.
Why do some "just think so"?
Because anything within 10 miles of Environmentalism, Liberalism or Socialism must be wrong.

Also silly is that it's all a liberal hoax, that the IPCC is just a political group, it's not happening because there weren't as many hurricanes as was predicted, it's all just a natural cycle because I say so, it's just due to the sun even though solar output has decreased, more scientists are skeptics, have you seen 'The Great Global Warming Swindle?', etc.
Really almost all the denier arguments are pretty silly when you think about them for a second.

It really would be silly for anyone to deny that we have climate and I don't think that's what you mean.
Actually, there is debate that we're actually in a warming trend right now and there's lots of evidence on both sides.
Where this becomes silly is when people want to blame all climatic changes on something humans or animals or insects are doing. That's not only silly, but shows overwhelming arrogance as well as a total lack of scientific knowledge.
So you're on the right track. Believing in this environmental religion is very silly, but a lot of very ignorant people have to have something to believe in, and it's a free country, so let them believe in "global warming," or even the Easter bunny if it makes them happy.
Misinforming ignorant people is bad, but most are starting to see through this hoax. There will always be snake-oil salesmen like Al Gore and his kind. It's part of human nature to prey on ignorance. No one really believes anything Al Gore says anyway now that they've found out he's hypocrite as well as a complete idiot who made it big on his daddy's political and monetary help.

I like the examples people use to prove global warming is real
- Pat Roberson says global warming is real
- Newt Gingrich says global warming is real
- The CEO of Wal-Mart says global warming is real
- A NASA space shuttle pilot says global warming is true
- A retired Army Admiral Says global warming is true.
- This is all proof to show that global warming is indeed a fact and everyone should follow these people.
That is what's given as proof global warming exist. Pretty silly hey?
[Edit] As long as they agree with you, then they have science on their side.
Not like anyone ever accused "global warming" of being objective.
