recently when i exercise i get these painful side stitches which kinda gets in the way of my workout.
i eat about 2 and a half hours before my workout which isnt a big meal, its a tuna sandwich..
i take a few sips of water before working out as i do weight training before cardio.
does anyone know the cause of this and how to prevent it
thank you

Speak to your doctor first, there may be a medical problem causing them.

If you are new to exercise, or have recently stepped up the intensity, then this may be why and it may go away as you get used to exercising at this level. However, you should definitely consult your doctor.

it's because of your breathing. you need to try to stop taking shallow quick breaths and try to take slower, longer more full breaths. remember to inhale through the nose and exhale via the mouth
