Wow. I'm new to dating. Been out of the game for 8 years now. I am not desperate in anyway. Have a few dates set up with other people. I just like this one and wanted her to feel special. She got them and told me how much it made her day today and she can't wait to go out again and I am the only guy that ever bought her flowers EVER. So it made her feel good so thats all that matters.

I think you did the right thing, if for no other reason, because it felt right for you.
The first man I dated (a year after divorcing) brought flowers when he picked me up on our first date. He was a gentleman in every way and I respected him for that. I don't think I ever became 'clingy' but I certainly always felt appreciated.
While we were in a relationship, about a year, he brought me flowers every time he came over. I never asked nor expected this from him, but I certainly appreciated it.
No one had ever done that for me before. His romantic gestures and passionate nature made every aspect of the relationship incredible.
In short, he kept me turned on. It wasn't just the flowers, that isn't what mattered to me, it was that he was a true gentleman. Rare.

Honestly....this was not a good idea. You shouldn't let on that you like someone this much so early on in the relationship by sending flowers. She might think you are clingy and needy.

Didn't look at what you bought, but..
Inexpensive flowers once a week keep you out of trouble
expensive flowers don't always get you out of trouble..
Flowers (especially when you add chocolate) are always welcome...
