No, the only good thing is it is more secure, it takes more recources and not everything will run on it. You are better off with XP for the next couple of years.

Nope, They made vista rush because of dumdum BIll Gates ending the longhorn project in 2004 or 2005. The people are angry already because MS running away from them by not making a good OS.
Taking some of the features of longhorn, they made vista.
They made vista so fast that thousands of bugs occurred, hardware and software incompatibility, and memory hungry OS.
Well, stick with XP because MS will give a long support for XP, until 2014. Longest OS support of MS, 13 years.
And most programs today support windows XP.

I would say no. It looks nicer but it does the same thing. It has some security enhancements that can be helpful and also irritating. I never had any security problems with xp so I don't consider the enhancements a selling point. I wouldn't even consider updating my operating system from xp to vista. I will get vista when I replace my pc.

Nope. Vista is a waste of time, a hog, a big yawner, fluff, bloatware, not worth its salt. Even MS themselves admitted as much by (1) extending the sales of XP, (2) releasing another "service pack" SP3 for XP and (3) already working on another version of Windows called "Windows 7" to make up for the obvious shortcomings of Vista

I have windows vista and i think it's way better than XP but you do need a large hard drive to run it but you get loads of gadgets for your computer and stuff. It's really fun as well.

No way dude! Vista is the worst thing to happen to computers since viruses came out. I haven't used a computer with vista on it that doesn't s**k!
Those Apple commercials tell the whole story!

well, I'm glad that it's not just me that thinks vista is slow. There's not much of a difference, except when the screen freezes, it attempts to fix it.

No, not at the moment but with more updates maybe one day.
Now Vista is just a resource hog.
