Yes, it can. Maybe not from the flu necessarily but many people have allergies to the other crap they put in the shot and don't tell you about. It also contains thiemerosol (mercury...BAAAD mojo), eggs, formaldehyde, and neomycin which is an antibiotic that is only meant for external use. I got sick as a dog every time I got a flu shot and doctors told me it was all in my head...until I tried neosporin and found out I have a severe allergy to neomycin. No more flu shots for me!

The shot can be a little jarring, yes. The most common minor side effects are nausea, dizziness, fever, itching, pain, swelling. Though more severe reactions are not unheard of.
You should avoid it if you have an allergy to any of its ingredients. The flu shot contains egg protein, of which they use to cultivate the cells. It's much safer to get the nasal spray. And not just because of the egg. The flu shot still contains thimerosal mercury, and with nearly all vaccines-aluminum. Both potent neurotoxins. See here:

A person who's had the flu shot annually for three-five years in a row's risk of getting Alzheimer's is multiplied tenfold. By an immunologist himself.

No, it can't. The flu shot is an inactive virus, not a live one. Also it takes 2 weeks from when you catch the flu for you to show symptoms of it. So if you're feeling horrible now, you actually caught whatever it is 2 weeks ago (assuming it's the flu). You could have caught a cold at the doctors office. That's why frequent hand washing and buying that antibacterial gel is so important.
Say you're sitting in their chair and someone with a cold was sitting there 20 minutes before you. You touch the chair and then you go rub your nose or you leave and eat a sandwhich. Now you've put that other persons germs into your body and voila! You've got a cold.

A flu shot is NOT suppose to make you sick. I was in the military for 20 years, every year we got flu shots and it doesn't put us down for a week. You might have been on the verge of getting the flu. The weather has been yo-yoing up and down lately.

It can make you feel like you have the flu for a few days post injection. But it should not be so bad, that you are getting sick. Are you allergic to eggs?

I've never gotten sick from a flu shot. However, I've had many friends tell me that they get flu-like symptoms from the shot. It's probably something like getting a small pox blister from the small pox vaccine. (:

Yeah it sure can. There is mercury in the shot and other toxins. Might want to avoid it next year.
