i'm looking for a replacement to my MAJOR weakness. CHIPS! good ol salty chips. i've tried peanuts and other nuts but still can not find something to replace that serious craving for chips.

Try to wean yourself of them. I know in the UK you can buy these "Salt 'n' Shake" crisps - you have to add the salt to them. If you can get them where you are, just throw away the packet of salt.

Or you could try vegetable (e.g. parsnip) crisps - they have the same crunch and a nice flavor, or go to you local health food store and see if you can get some "crisps" that are made of corn and vegetables. these too have the same crunch and a good flavor.

It's hard to find an equal replacement of those..LOL..you could try buying the Baked Lays...a good potato chip with alot less fat.
Even Baked Tortilla chips are good with some salsa. You can actually get some vitamins out of that snack.

If you HAVE to have chips, go for the baked ones.
Lays makes baked lays, in a few different flavors too, not just plain.

Chips is my weakness too. I eat a lot of cashews instead. They are salty and give you a little crunch too.

Well there are healthy chips...If you have a health food store or canned food store they always have healthy chips.
The kind i used to get were blue and purple kinds and tasted sweet instead of salty. try to google those.
