It's important, but not the top priority... if a guy is a terrible kisser, I can have fun teaching him how to be better!

Kissing is a hell of a skill. If a guy knows how to kiss well.. it can take him far with a woman (I agree with the article in that regard).
Now.. how much it plays in choosing a mate- not all that much:
I am married to a kisser that ranks around 4-5 (scale 1-10. 10 being fireworks). I miss those men that could melt me with their kisses - however my husband has so many other wonderful abilities and qualities-- I decided kissing was not my top priority. (sadly, my abilities as a trainer, or his abilities as a student in the kissing area are not working out)

It's a plus, if he is a good kiss! A good kisser on a scale 1 to 10 it got to be 10!

On a scale of 1 to 10...1 being the worst...his kissing would rate a 3 or 4...it is something that can be taught..

It's not that important. To me, the most important thing is always intelligence. Secondly, how he treats me. Body hygiene is important, too, of course. He's not even getting to the kissing stage if he has B.O. or teeth stained with chewing tobacco.
Besides, it can be fun practicing and improving those skills!

it all depends how old the couple is. for me if he is cute and a good date, and an alright kisser, i wouldn't mind teaching him. hehe. But if the couple is older, and the guy is older and doesnt' kno how to kiss, then there is a chance he doesn;t know how to do other things too. Kinda like getting married toa 40 year old virgin thing.
